Season Summary

Made it back to the championship game and defeated in a penalty kick shootout 4-2 (The final shooter did not get a chance to shoot for Russell because it would only have made the final pk count 4-3 if it was made).  The PKs took place after a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation and 30 minutes of overtime play.  This was a very evenly played championship game overall, with both sides having chances to win the game in regulation and overtime.  Perhaps the best chance came from the feet of Joe Knox from 20 yeards out when his far post shot was saved by Ogdensburg's Lucas Smith as he stretched to deflect the shot into the post and out.  A good season overall, with only 1 yellow card in 16 games as a notable achievement.
